Before selecting an Android file
Use the download button to reach the external service, then check the file name, publisher and any device requirements displayed there. An Android APK cannot be installed on an iPhone. If no iOS option is listed, do not assume an APK converter or a configuration profile is a valid alternative.
Find the completed download
Wait until the browser marks the transfer complete. Open its Downloads list or the phone’s Files app and choose the downloaded package. If Android asks for installation permission, check which browser or file manager is requesting it. Keep security scanning enabled and stop if the file produces an unexplained safety warning.
When installation does not finish
An incomplete transfer, insufficient storage or an unsupported Android release can prevent installation. Note the exact message before changing settings. Free space if needed and obtain a fresh file from the same verified source. Do not remove an existing installation until you know your sign-in details and whether any local data needs to be preserved.
Updating an existing installation
Compare the installed version with the release information at the provider. This page does not label an unverified file as the latest build. After an update, confirm the app opens and that you can access the same account. Return temporary installation permissions to their previous state when they are no longer needed.
